Assemblies Information
Sunday: 10:30 AM - Lord's Worship Service in Japanese (Right after Lord's
Worship Service we will have fellowship with Tea or Coffee, and cake).
Thursday: 11:30 AM - Joyful Bible Study and Prayer (Right after Bible
Study we will have fellowship with luncheon). The Church will provide
nursery support for any age children during Sundays Worship Service
and the Pastor's wife will provide nursery support during Bible study
on Thursdays. Please bring your friends and join us!
About Rev. Peter Kim, Pastor of the Japanese Ministry
Rev. Peter Kim, Pastor is from Taechun, Chung Nam, South Korea. He was
born in 1933 and came to the United States in 1979 at the age of 46.
He and his wife, Lucy, have 1 son and 1 daughter and 4 grand children.
Pastor Kim now resides in Marlton, New Jersey with his wife, Lucy. Pastor
Kim has been a Christian all of his life. He is 3rd generation Christian.
When he was 17 years old, he experienced a life threatening experience.
He was running away from North Korean soldiers (during the Korean War)
and was sure to be captured. As he hunched down out of the soldiers
sight, he prayed to God for help in escaping. He stayed hidden and praying
for hours and just before he lost consciousness, he saw a cross on the
horizon (God had answered his prayers). When he awoke the soldiers were
gone-he had been saved! 35 years later, during a prayer, he remembered
how God had saved his life. He was so overwhelmed by this recollection
that he felt God's calling to him and decided to devote the remainder
of his life spreading the word of God. He entered Seminary where he
became a Reverend and set out to spread God's word. Reverend Kim has
committed to spend the remainder of his life in pursuit of God's plan.

1999: Theological Master: Taeshin Theological Seminary
Pastor Kim's Mission and Vision
"The Lord is calling upon me to assist the Japanese and Japanese - Americans,
living in Southern New Jersey and the surrounding areas, to learn more
about the Gospel and the ways of the Lord. The Lord has sent me on a
crusade to teach and train Japanese and Japanese - Americans in the
ways of the Lord so that they can spread His word both in the United
States and in Japan".

campus at the University of Pennsylvania.
2002-2003 Established VIP for the Japanese Business Christian Association

2004 Established Japanese Ministry of Ashland Church at Voorhees, New
Jersey
